Reviewing your financial plan during times of market volatility may often bring clarity and peace of mind. While the market may be uncomfortable to watch, many clients find that reviewing their financial plan ensures them that they are still on the path to financial success.
At Chilton we begin this process by inviting individuals to a discovery meeting in which we discuss current financial figures and goals. We assist with data collection and then explore thought provoking questions such as, “What do you want your retirement to look like?” and “What kind of legacy would you like to leave?” Next, we analyze this data in light of the goals and a plan is prepared, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the current course of action. When weaknesses are discovered, we offer recommendations on how to properly re-align in order to reach those financial goals.
Our clients often share with us that going through the exercise of financial planning was an eye opening experience for them. Many clients are pleased to see that they are on the proper path to financial success or are reassured as they enter retirement, while others are encouraged to make lifestyle changes in order to reach their desired financial future.
